Kimberly's Project

~~Here is my project and challenge~~

Challenge is to find inspiration from a Magazine that is NOT scrapbook related and find a way to create a LO using something that inspired you. It can be color, design, page LO or title.

For mine, I used a quilt made with YoYo's.

First you start with a cut piece of Patterned paper about 3x4 roughly. You will want to use a heavier weight patterned paper for this because the paper will rip easily once it is wet.

Then I punched 2 different size circles to make for my template to form the paper around.

Once I have the around of circles and paper cut for my project, I then completely wet both sides of the paper.

Now I used tiny rubber bands to create the pucker effect in the paper very carefully. Using the side that I don't want showing. Once that is secure, I carefully wrapped it around the chipboard disc template.

 Here is one YoYo complete

And here are all my YoYo's lined up drying. It only took about 30 minutes to dry them. While they were drying, I worked on the rest of my creation to get ready to attach them. I used a Hot glue gun to attach them securely.

And here is my finished project and a close up as well.

Now for the fun part...One lucky person will receive this RAK upon completing this challenge. Thank you so much for playing and participating...this has been an honor to be a part of!

Blessings, Kimberly

Ladies, you have until the 31st December to submit your entries to sophia(at)theallisons(.)co(.)za please make sure you send your inspiration with the LO too.
